Access from the Station
Upon getting off the station, head to the nearest Hachiko Exit and walk for about 6 minutes to get there.
Same goes if you are coming from Tokyu Toyoko line Shibuya station, and Keio Inikashira line. The location of the shop is about 483 meters away so it is not that difficult to find.
How to Book
It is best to call the restaurant if you want to make an advance reservation. Just dial the restaurant’s hotline number and ask for accommodation.
The appearance of the restaurant is very casual, wooden door and glass walls with food menu displays glued, and the restaurant’s name well-written in English on white fabrics.
There is nothing extra ordinary about the appearance and it looks a bit old but obviously, the place is really well-maintained.
This area is where you get the fish you want to eat. A very typical fishing style and it makes you feel like you are putting a lot of effort getting the food you want! A really unique and fun experience and I think it is a “must” when visiting Tokyo.
The dining area is probably one of the most spacious among all other restaurant’s that I’ve seen. There are many seat options from wide table seats, tatami, and sofa style seats.
The restaurant is really very famous so expect it to be crowded almost every day. There are many foreign travelers and local Japanese customers here.
This sashimi platter is simply one of the bests! The freshness of the fish is incredibly notable since its caught anf cooked inside the shop.
Recommended when eating alone, with family, with friends/o-workers, and for dating.
The restaurant can accommodate private parties, and other celebrations.
Kids are welcome!
