Access from the Station
With the distance of 525 meters away from the nearest station, I think this restaurant is convenient and not difficult to find given that you already know how it looks like (exactly the same as the picture posted).
Travel time on foot is approximately 8 minutes from Hiroo station – Hibiya line. The location may be a little secluded for some.
How to Book
The restaurant is open for advanced reservations, or you can directly call them to confirm the seat availability.
Appearance
Seeing this white Japanese fabric dividers hanging at the entrance area makes the place relatable to other local restos here in Japan. The simplicity of the colors used is also very casual, not that it is lacking in style, but to promote the real essence of the culture.
The restaurant’s name is perfectly curved in Japanese characters placed on the right side of the doorway which is almost invisible to my eyes as it has the same shade as the wall.
Obviously, long queue has never been an issue since the restaurant recommends seat reservations in advance.
Ambiance
The simplicity of the exterior design is totally exhibited in the interior part of the restaurant. There are no extravagant accents, and the dimly-lit place will give you a relaxing ambiance while eating.
There are about 8 counter seats, and 16 others for the restaurant’s private dining rooms. The place is highly recommended when eating alone, with a co-worker, a friend, or family, and even for dating.
Recommended Menu
“Omakase Style”
What could be more appetizing than these chef’s recommended course or popularly known as “Omakase Course”. Most of the customers are eager to comeback because the menu is worth every penny spent.
The refereshing taste of sashimi (raw fish meat), and sushi (vinegared rice topped with fish/seafood) are beyond your imagination. These delicious dishes will surely change your perspective about eating fish meat uncooked!
