Appearance
The simple facade of Sushi Owana is just a perfect example of how most of the sushi restaurant’s look like here in Japan. Wooden door frame slightly covered by Japanese fabric/Noren, and the restaurant’s name is displayed in Japanese writing!
The peaceful surrounding is also very evident in this place. There are no long lines outside of the restaurant since advanced booking is highly recommended!
Ambiance
The counter and ceiling are made from Japanese cypress wood, and the lighting inside is bright and cheerful, which makes for a crisp, immaculate dining space.
The seating inside features 8 seats at the counter and a single completely private room with 6 seats in total. Chef Oana made sure to include private room seating since fine dining establishments often make it impossible for families to bring their children along.
The restaurant offers a relaxed and natural dining space that is perfect for not just receptions and other group dining occasions, but for couples and families with children as well. The interior is calm and composed with a friendly ambiance all throughout, which means guests can enjoy their meal in a perfectly relaxed setting.
Recommended Menu
What else can be more rewarding than eating some perfectly crafted sushi by no other than the master chef of the house, Mr. Oana who has a wide and long time experience in making best sushi meals which he learned when he was still working in one of the most famous sushi restaurants here in Japan.
If you want to taste the edo-style sushi with a more refreshing and exciting taste, then look no further!
Additional Information
The private room is available for 4 – 6 people.
Recommended when eating alone, with a friend, with a co-worker, and for dating.
