Access from the Station

The distance from Ginza Station is about 5-minute on foot, and a 12-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station.

How to Book

For bookings/reservations, please call the restaurant’s hotline number +81-3-3573-7222 and you can ask for an English speaking staff if available.

The outer appearance of the building is a bit old and the area is kind of secluded. Hakkoku Sushi’s name has signage with Japanese characters along with other signages.

Although it appears to be old, the building is still well-maintained and still intact, clean, and presentable despite minor flaws.

〜 Counter Seating 〜

The dining area is as simple as its exterior theme. There are no fancy deets but wall with less than 5 portraits. The counter table is surrounded with 18 counter seats and that’s it. Yes, the place has limited seat accommodation and it just really like the usual sushi bar.

Apparently, there are no private rooms in this restaurant and it is strictly a non-smoking area as per the restaurant’s standard and policy.

Recommended Menu

Omakase style is what the customers are about to enjoy upon entering the dining area. The customers are all blabbing about the freshness of the sushi here, the fatty tuna, plus the drink and eat-all-you-can menus are something to look forward to!

Additional Information

Available Menu:
Course (¥3,000up, ¥5,000up, ¥10,000up)

Recommended when eating alone, with a friend/co-worker, and for dating.

This pretty pink piece deserves a special mention. My favourite chutoro, the perfect balance between flavour and fattiness. Lunch at Hakkoku was 17 pieces of nigiri starting off with the famous tossaki hand roll. We sat at the counter of chef @Ryutoleok and graciously served by @angiel830. Chef Hiro Sato is travelling the world this year. Doing collaborations like a rock star on a world tour. Whilst he is away I assume Hakkoku will be left in the hands of his protégés @junsaito09 @yazawastagram @sasaki_shy_chef @ryutoleok @angiel830 Highlight of the lunch was sharing a few glasses of nihonshu with Tokyo’s Sushi Rock Star @hiro.sato.sushi. #chutoro #tokyo #sushi #hakkoku #ginza #sushigram #sushiporn #sushilovers #tokyogourmet #toptokyorestaurants #wheretoeattokyo #tokyoeats #food #foodlover #instafood #igfood #gastronomy #gourmet #theartofplating #foodporn
